Re: not getting workmans comp

Under Tennessee law, if you have returned to work and have not yet reached maximum medical improvement and if the employer is not paying you the same wage (or you are working less hours) you should be receiving some worker's compensation to make up the difference. If you have been released from the doctor after reaching maximum medical improvement, in all likelihood you will be entitled to a lump sum cash payment for any permanent impairment or disability that you have. There are many other benefits you may be entitled to so you need to consult with a lawyer before the statute of limitations expires on your claim. The statute of limitations is tricky to calculate so you do need to at least talk with a lawyer.....

If you have reached your max medical improvement then you maybe entitled to a lump sum settlement. If you have been released to work but are still under a doctors care and your employer says you cannot work as long as you are wearing the brace on your wrist, then you are out on workers comp. Your employer can re-assign to a different job while you are wearing the brace.

It sounds like you need a lawyer
