Legal Question in Disability Law in Texas

My daughter had a child with a married man. Can he legally have his name on the baby's birth certificate? He was living with his wife until 2 weeks before my daughter gave birth. Now he will not leave her alone. We live in the state of Texas.

If he's the child's father, and paternity is established in the courts, then the child will have his last name, unless there's a very good reason not to do this.

Until a Judge signs a paternity order, this man is (legally) a stranger to the child. You don't have to put up with ANY harassment from him.
