Legal Question in Disability Law in Texas

handicapped accessability

my aunt is disabled and is moving into a new apartment there are no accessability ramps anywhere and the management says it is not there responsibility. are the property owners responsible for providing handicapped access to the property if so what can we do to enforce it

Hello there,

The problem is that some facilities are grand fathered in before the ADA requirements came into effect.

The people that enforce these matters are city code enforcement.
