Chapter 11

A company that owes me $13,023.64 has just filled bakruptcy chaper 11. What are the chances of me seeing any of this money?

Much depends on the what you are owed for. Different types of debts are given different levels of priority. For example, if you are owed wages there is a good likelihood you will be one of the first in line to be repaid. Another factor will be what percentage of repayment is proposed in the company's reorganization plan. It might be proposed that creditors are repaid 5% or 80%.
