Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas

Hello, I am going through divors ,and under tempruary family court order my husband has to pay chaild and spausal support to me. At same time he is under US trustee investication for chapter 7 bunkropcy. He has his owen bussines and US trustee think he has enough many to pay creditors. Tomorrow is hearing in US bankruptcy court, about : trustee want to posest my husband bussines( his only sours of incom) in order pay to creditors.

My question is : How, and from whom I can get chaild , and spousal support if US trustee take my husband bussines over? And does judge in US bancropcy court has to know that my husband has an obligations pay chaild , and spousal support under family court order?

Your husband must inform the court of his domestic support obligation. Thus, he must tell them that he owes child support and spousal support. Regardless of the US Trustee's investigation results, your husband is still liable for all child support. I would recommend getting an attorney to represent you inside the bankruptcy court.

If he is behind on domestic support obligations and the trustee recovers money from his estate, you have a priority to be paid. Yet, you must let the court know you are owed money. The state attorney general is a place you can go to get assistance in collecting child support.
