Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Contracts

I have a question about receiving misleading information before signing two contracts, of which I did obviously not understand everything. I did ask the people to explain what I'm signing for and the more I learn the more I realise that what they told us at the seminar and what I'm getting, is not exactly what I wanted, and I explained very clearly what I had in mind. This is not my field of expertise and I really feel that they used my ignorance/stupidity to their advantage. They did not lie, they just didn't tell the whole truth. I was told that there will be no ways that I will be successful if I don't sign up for the whole deal and the more I work on it the more I realise it was a total ripoff. The company was even on FOX news about 3 weeks ago about misleading people. I was told by someone that I have a case of Bad Faith with Punitive damages.(I don't even know what that means). Any ways I can get rid of the contracts, just pay for what I already used and get on with my life?

Re: Contracts

Hire a lawyer ASAP. You may be able to rescind the contract because of fraud in the inducement.
