Statutes of limitations varyk depending upon the claim. In some circumsances, legal action must be initiated in as few as 30 days. In other cases, a suit can be brought 25 years later. There are also a wide variety of other factors, such as when the wrong done was discovered, age of the litigant, etc., as well as prerequisites to filing which sometimes must be fulfilled.
