Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

dental work

about 5 yrs ago my wife got a partial done from a dentist in houston tx. we spent about 1,300 to 1,500. from the very beginning she had problems with the dentist. he would wait till she got there and cancel visits because he would want her to pay for something like a cleaning, cash and when she would say no, he would just send her home. we only used this dentist at the time because we were on a dental discount plan and later had dental insurance thru aetna. we had already started paying on the plan and to change dentist at the time would have been more costly. when it came time to get her teeth, she went to her aetna dentist for the pulling of the teeth, wich only cost us $5.00. well he was apparently angry because he wanted her to have him pull her teeth wich was going to cost us a lot more money. when she showed up after getting her teeth pulled. he sent her home and rescheduled, if i'm right at least twice. he also anchored the partial on a unstable tooth. my wife has never been able to wear them comfortably and finally just gave up. it has affected her negatively and she does not like to even go eat out, to a movie, no where except around family. can i do anything about this with this guy?

Re: dental work

Statute of limitation would run from the date of the last visit. You might be able to sue him if it's not too late. Good Luck

Re: dental work

First and foremost, there may be an issue of the statute of limitations. That would be dependent upon what the dates of the visits. Additionally, when you first visited this dentist, you or your wife signed some forms which stated what (if any) remedies you may have for problems. If my law firm can assist you with this legal matter or any other legal issue, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
