Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

firing and getting another job

I was fired for fraudulent refunds twice but did not take the miney i put it back in the till. Am i going to find it hard to get another job. I cannot prove i did not take the money? I was trying to make our cash count even and to prove i was working really hard to keep the companies money from showing a shortage that another employee was taking and at that time I didnot know who was in the wrong. The co. loss prevention found out which employee was taking the money and fired them but also relized i did not follow policy and fired me too. Will this keep m e from getting a future job? Is it reported to any agency?

Employment records are not reported to any central data base. However,a prospective employer may check with your previous employer about your work history and habits. Good luck.
