Hot-Check
what steps do i take to recover my money ,for non-sufficient-funds-check,Checks are (3) weeks old; the account is still open;But still not enough money to cover the (2) checks $400.00@.I have called this person & left massages; is there any forms i need to report this crime or wher do i need to go to get some action.

Usually the local District Attorney in your county has a hot check unit.

You can also go to your Justice of the Peace. They handle misdemeanor hot checks as well.
