Karate Payments

I signed a contract for my sons karate classes stating that I would make payments until Feb of 2007. We are in a finacial bind as we just bought our first house and we can't afford to send him to karate anymore. He will not attend this month or Feb. Do I have to make those payments even though he will not be attending? I tried talking to them but they will not work with me at all. I dont' know what I am supposed to do. I have been nothing but nice, I have always paid on time but I just can't do these next two months.

When you say they won't work with you, I presume that means they won't let you out of the contract. I doubt that the contract mentions that if you buy a house, then you don't have to pay the contract. I don't know how much it is, but these types of contracts are routinely sued upon for payment.

You are responsible for those payments. If you do not pay, they may sue you.
