Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I had my car repo but loan was paid in full 7mo ago when I called them they said it was 4 the fee that they had for the car being repo how can they get away with this..... Why do I have to pay for somthing they didn't do.

Are you saying that AFTER you paid off your car, it was repossessed? The time line is important here.
