Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

credit counseling company lawsuit

We were just made aware of a class action lawsuit filed against our former credit counseling company who ruined us. However, in order to get a piece of the pie you had to have your claim form in by Dec. 2006 which obviously didn't happen since we didn't know about it. I called the information hotline for the settlement and they said that we could turn in the claim form now but can't guarantee we will get anything since the deadline has passed. Is there anything we can do? Thank you.

Re: credit counseling company lawsuit

If you were damaged substantially, we would look at the case..class actions do not preclude individual claims..is the company still viable??
