Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I couldn't pay my truck it got repossed. What's next? I'm scared about them garnished wages or taking my home away? My son in law had his repoed and is been 7 years nothing happens to him but only on his credit report he don't own home tho. Shall I be scared n live in fear?

Don't worry about wage garnishment. There is no wage garnishment in Texas for an ordinary debt.

If you get sued, and if they get a judgment, a judgment lien does not attach to homestead. Nobody is oging to "take your home away."

You may eventually get sued for a deficiency balance (after they sell the car).
