Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle when i was 13 years old in 1995. I was put on deferred adjudication and did not complete the probation successfully. I spent 3 days in juvenile detention for being unruly with my mom. The charge does show up on my record according to an army recruiter who ran my background when i considered joining hte military several years ago. I have not had any arrests or convictions since and am wondering if this can be expunged? I am getting ready to finish my bachelors degree in criminal justice and wondering if this charge from 95 will haunt me. I am 27 years old now.
