Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Assult, Bullying, & Harassment at a public school

My daughter has been being bullied and harassed at school and today she was shoved down in the hallway. She went to the office and was told in so many words that she would be put in I.S.S. if she came in there again. One of the students she has a problem with was one that caused her problems last year. My daughter was told by a lady in the school office that there is only so much they can do. My daughter does not feel safe at school, she was crying begging me not to make her go back ot school. What can I do if the school officials do not protect my daughter while she is at school, before she gets beat up or worse happens? Thank you for your time. Sincerely jdmlady

If it were my daughter, I would start on the food chain, and work my way up until there were satisfactory results, the least of which would be that the offending girl is removed from the school.

I would also file a police report for assault.

If necessary to get everyone's attention (including the offender's parents) file a civil lawsuit.

It takes time and tenacity. Good luck.
