Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

my cousin was given 99 years in prison she was at a club where a fight broke out and a man was stabbed and killed she had no blood on her despite the guy that was killed was stabbed over 27 times she was put in prison guilt by assosiation. another guy was given 99 years also he had the knife and did the stabbing, but he was also my cousin's boyfriends cousin and therefor they said they were there together they did not get there together and did not leave together, many eye witnesses testifeid that my cousin and her boyfriened were toghether the whole night up until the fight broke out. what can we do for an appeal my cousin is 27
