Re: Skipping out on Probation

It depends on the County and the Court. Most of the time this is up to the Judge who granted the probation, if they are still on the bench. If they are not, then it will be up to the Judge who has taken there place in the Court that granted the probation. Sometimes it is possible to work things out with the District Attorney (prosecutor) that is in that Court now. In my experience, Judges are not to keen on people that abscound (disappear) from probation. However, it all depends. If you would like to discuss this further, I recommend you contact Ryan B. Bormaster in my office. He has experience in this area of law and usually does not charge for an initial consultation. You can contact his assistant, Carrie Smith by sending an email to "[email protected]". Good luck--
