Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

2nd DUI occurs out of TX

I just got a DUI in CA but I live in Texas. I had previously got a DUI in TX in 2005. Will TX punish me for a second DUI, or will this matter only be settled in CA?

The matter will be handled in California. If, however, you pick up another one in Texas, they may count the one in California and that would mean you would looking at your third DWI in Texas, which is considered a felony.
