adoption

I want to know cost of adopting my step son. Natural father deceased, I am married to mother(legal resident). Boy , 15 in dec 2002. Receiving his legal residence on July 23, 2002. Reason for adoption: all parties want and he can become U.S. Citizen on day of receiving green card if adoption complete. Want to adopt but do not want to go to ''debtors'' prison trying to accomplish.

Attorneys fee for adoption - $1750

District Court fees - 175

parental registry search - 25

social study (req'd by court $500-$800

(person performing the

social study is appointed

by the Court. I have nothing

to do with it)

If you want me to do this for you, call me at 994-1127. I can accept payments with a downpayment of $1,500 to cover the social study which must be paid up front to the Court and the filing fees which must be paid before the case can be started and the balance of the $1500 as a downpayment on my fee.
