Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

adult supervision

What is the definition of adult supervision in regards to watching of a child? I have a 15 yr old sophmore stepdaughter and I would like to know if she qualifies as 'adult supervision' for my nine yr old (from a previous marriage) on an afterschool basis only and only until my wife returns from work. The time frame of this supervision is 3:30 to 5:00. My divorce document states adult supervision and doesn't state an age.

Re: adult supervision

Adult generally means 18 years of age, the age of majority in Texas. Of course, if you and the opposing party agree in writing, it should not be a problem with him. However, if the 15 year old is not responsible, (probably not a problem), you could cross CPS.
