if one parent in the household was arrested for public intox but already got help for it and the cps is saying they must met with the parents first or the child cant be alone with the parent but the other parent wants to call off the cps what can be done ?

I would immediately hire an attorney.
I would not want to deal with CPS without an attorney.
Not a lot of attorneys will handle CPS cases because it so difficult.
