Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been in a custody battle since 4/12...have spent thousands of dollars on attorney fees, physcological evaluations, physcological therapy, amicus attorney for children involved. We have been to court at least 3 or 4 times this year. Last week I was informed by my attorney that the presiding judge may recuse herself from the case and it appears that my attorney may also recuse herself. Reasons given was that the presiding judge and attorney had planned a trip a year ago and they had no idea that this case was going to be still going on. Now I'm told this is happening this week and I'm left stranded. Do I have any recourses? I have primary custody of my kids...ex-wife has limited and supervised visits.

Lawyers don't recuse themselves; they withdraw.

There shouldn't be any reason for BOTH of them to bail out of the case.

You do NOT have to agree to your lawyer withdrawing; you can fight it when she files her motion to withdraw.
