Is per diem included in child support payment in texas

It varies. I have had cases where per diem was not included in the net income, because it was established that the money was spent solely on work-related expenses that would not have been incurred if the person was not traveling, doing the same job. On the other hand, if a person eats out lunch every day anyway, then a per diem attributable to paying for lunch would arguably be included in net income. Every case is different but a good rule of thumb of net income is Adjusted Gross Income from your tax return.
