Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
divorce
My husband filed for divorce last november, i then filed my answer. we have no property or anything to divide. I received notice of a final hearing on August 13, 2007. Do we have to take ANY documentation with us to court or can we just go before the judge and he pronounce us divorced if we have nothing to argue about, do we have to have paperwork to make this happen

Re: divorce
You need a Final Decree of Divorce. If you do not know how to prepare this, then retain an attorney to prepare an Agreed Decree of Divorce for you. Since you have no children, debts, or assets, the cost should be very reasonable.
