Re: Family law

In TX in family court it means your case is being closed by the court.

That means all temporary orders, etc. go away.

Obviously the case has been on file for quite awhile and it has never been finalized.

If it's a divorce, you are NOT going to be divorced. You will need to start over from scratch.

If you don't want a DWOP, you need to file something with the court to stop it. Each court handles DWOP's differently.

If you have an attorney, contact the atty. immediately.

If you are pro se, obviously you have no idea of TX law. So I would strongly encourage you to hire a professional to get the job done right.

I don't do my own root canals and my dentist does not practice law. We agreed things work better that way.

PS - I love the new commercial where a doctor tells a man how to do his own surgery over the phone!
