Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband filed for custody. He was investigated years ago for sexual abuse(his 18 yo daughter gave video testimony of sexual abuse). Is there a way for me to get her video tesimony for my case with him in family court?

Yes, but without a lawyer you may have an evidentiary problem in getting the video into evidence. You may be able to get a copy of the video if you called and explained your situation to the District Attorney in the County where your husband was prosecuted (this just depends on the polices of that prosecutor's office.

This matter is important; you should consult with a family law attorney.

Good Luck!
