Your husband will have to hire a process server to hand you the papers. Your husband may also ask you to waive service by signing a waiver. If you avoid service, he can hire a process server to serve your fence or your door (after getting a court order that this is permitted). If all else fails, he can serve you by publishing notice in the local paper.
