Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband is paying child support for his two daughters (ages 7 & 9), which is 1200.00 a month. His ex wife is remarried.

We now have two children together (under the ages of 2.) His daughters are currently on my health insurance (since it doesn't cost us anymore to add 2 more dependents + our children), but they're double covered on his ex wife's insurance, which my husband is forced to cover. His ex wife would not reimburse us.

Can we go to court for child support re-evaluation?

Yes. You have TWO changes of circumstance:

1. The two new children - reduces your child support.

2. The free insurance coverage - no need for your husband to reimburse the ex-wife for the premium she pays.
