what is the law regarding bigamy and a child born during the bigamy marriage. my husband and his wife have both admitted they knew they were not divorced and both knew this when we entered our marriage..

Bigamy is a felony. I have seen only one person arrested for it, though. Prosecutors usually don't care much about this particular crime.

As for the child: Dad has to support him, regardless of the validity of the marriage.
