Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Is there any laws against someone using a single moms financial hardship as a weapon against her, thru financial oppression (after 5yrs feels more like financial torture), for the sole purpose of pushing her out of the picture and taking her son? I have no doubt my sons father in collusion w/ his parents are doing this. In fact I've recently recorded a conversation w/ my sons grandmother where she implicated the crap outta herself. My friend said sick people like that always implicate themselves. It only took one phone call.

Anyway, I certainly feel victimized and I know my son has suffered. Aside from publicly humiliating them w/ the phone call, is there anything else I can do.

I am unable to fully understand your question. It is unfortunate if people are using a single mother's financial problems against her.

There are pro bono (free) legal agencies throughout the State of Texas. Look at the State Bar of Texas website and find one in your county. From your zip code it appears that you are outside of Harris County. You might qualify for Lone Star Legal Aid. I don't know their phone number. You might call Lone Star Legal and see if they can make an appointment for you to meet with one for their staff attorneys and have a personal consultation to discuss your legal problem in person.

If these people are calling and bothering you, I would suggest that you do not talk to them. Ignore them. You and your son should not be subjected to them.

I wish you both the best. I hope this gives you both some peace. Good luck!
