Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If parent is not letting other parent see child.

My husband's ex girfriend will not let us or any of our family members see or talk to his kid. What can we do about it that wont cost a lot of money? Would it be best to fight for custody?

If there is court ordered visitation, then you can file suit against your ex-husband for failure to comply with an order of possession and access. He could be held in contempt of court. Filing for custody is also an option, but the court will base custody on the best interests of the child.
