Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

violating court order

The mother of my husband's daughter (they were never married) is violating the child support/visitation court order. She has not notified him, the court clerk, or the child support office of her new job, address, etc. She is also required to provide medical and dental care for the child (he provides insurance) but we found she has never taken the child to the dentist. When we took her, she has some serious dental issues. Is this enough to go to court over? We live in Texas...where the court order is...she lives in Florida.

Re: violating court order

File an enforcement action. If there is sufficient reason for a modification of conservatorship, you can file simultaneously.

Your husband will need a lawyer to handle these proceedings.
