Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation

My wife and I are currently separated and she is living with her parents. Her parents are trying to dictate when and where I can see my children, as well as where I can pick them up. They say I am not allowed on their street and there is no restraining order. They also believe they can lock the doors and refuse to give me my children. My wife and I are not divorcing but separated to work out our issues.

Re: Visitation

Unless there is a court order stating otherwise, your wife's parents have no control over your relationship with your children.

You should look into hiring an attorney to help you secure a court order that spells out your rights.
