should I wait to until after bankruptcy to file for divorce. I have to wait 1 year for bankruptcy to be filed.

I would get divorced and then file for bankruptcy. **IMPORTANT** Before you finalize your divorce, make sure your bankruptcy attorney reads your divorce decree. Depending on how you write up the part that talks about dividing up your debts, you might not be able to discharge them in bankruptcy.
