The man needs to file a lawsuit called a paternity case and ask for a dna test.

If he wants to be the father then the courts will help him. However, that is what he needs to do.

There is no other way.

You cannot help him. You can cooperate by you and your son giving swabs (easy and painless) when it is designated at a place that is designated at a time and place appropriate.

So basically the ball is in his court. He needs to hire an attorney to assist him in his attempt to be declared to father of this child. If he wants dna testing then you want it done legally and the right way. You want it done through the court system and ordered by a judge. It is not that expense.

He needs to hire a private attorney and request dna testing. It's not that much money. I assume that you would cooperate. Please do so or you would look bad in front of the judge.

I hope this helps.

He has to pay for it.

All the best,
