Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Contempt of court for back alimony payments and future payments

He was ordered by the court to pay $1600 a month so he quit his job in Texas. When the $1600 was child support the money was taken out of his paycheck and it was suppose to continue that way with the alimony. Do I have any rights to his retirement or other sources. He doesn't own property. The house he lives in is in his new wife's name.

Yes, you do have significant rights and need to consult with an attorney to explore the best avenues to collect what you are owed. It is irrelevant that the house is in his wife's name.
