Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Neighbor's Letter

I moved into a new house in September. About a month later an amateur rock band starting practicing in the house next door. By November the loud music stopped for good. Last week a neighbor brought over to my house a Xerox copy of a letter that was posted in the local community center. It was a letter from a neighbor to the police telling them that they suspected the music was coming from my house. The letter was dated October 23. I do not know when the letter was put up. I can not believe a neighbor did this. Do I have any legal recourse?

Re: Neighbor's Letter

No. Be a better neighbor than the letter writer, and send him/her/them a polite letter stating that the music was not coming from your house. Post this letter at the community center next to the letter accusing you. (Whoops - that's not legal advice).
