Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

personal property dispute

I recently purchased some real property from persons that inherited the property, there was no will. A lady that knew the deceased filed an oral will, she is claiming all the personal property, what proof do I need from her and how much time do I give her to remove all the personal property, and can I go into my property.

Re: personal property dispute

If the lady has been appointed admintrator under the "oral will", she can come and get the property and keep it safely until she gets a court order. You could petition the court require the administrator to come and get the property or charge her reasonable storage fees - maybe $10 per day maximum.
