Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Wrongfull termination

I was recently terminated from my position after only 1 1/2 months of employment. When I started at this company there were several people who did not want me there and I was told as much by several other employees on the team. Once I arrived, these two individuals did everything they could to make me look bad and keep conflict going. Ultimately, I was terminated because they stated that I was to ''gruff'' and was ruining their reputation. I want to know if I have any legal grounds to sue or should I proceed to

sign the severance agreement - which they have agreed to pay me until the end of Feb.?

Re: Wrongfull termination

Unless you had an oral or written contract, you have no rights..again unless dsicriminated against for the few reasons law does not permit.....but you need to visit a lawyer from good advice...
