Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

My wife has a L2 visa, passport and a SSN under her maiden name. She just received her EAD card but under her married name. Is that a problem for work or for anything else later on (e.g driver license renewal). Thank you

She should go to the SSA office with a copy of her marriage certificate to get a SS card (with the same SSN) in her married name. It's not a problem having a different name, as long as you have the marriage certificate handy. For ease, you should have a few original/certified copies from the place where your marriage was registered to make changes as need be.
