Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

wife visa

Hi!

I am legal permanent residence. I am writing the letter to consular requesting the issuance of visa for my wife to attend my graduation ceremony. When I write a letter, do I need to mention on the letter stating I am LPR? If I do not mention, is this will indicate the visa fraud? My wife will mention to consular about my LPR status anyway if they ask her at time of interview y. We are not planning to lie. Because, I do not want this negatively impact of getting visa. I have not filed a petition for her.

Next question

Is it good idea to provide her a bank balance from my side when she goes to interview? Or this will impact negatively of getting visa

One lawyer told me it will negatively impact of getting visa if I furnish the copy of Green card and bank document.

So I am confused which one is the right thing to do so she wont deny.

Re: wife visa

If you are going to reveal the information, then you might as well do it now, and provide documentation that she does not intend to remain in the US. The question revolves around her intent -- whether it is temporary or permanent. An experienced immigration lawyer can assist you in preparing a package that accurately sets forth her temporary intent.
