Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

I added my husband and a new vehicle to my insurance as an owner, such as I was abd when he got killed in a one vehicle accident, they did not pay me for death indemnity because when the lady added him, she did not list him for all the benefits I was listed for and she said that he was supposed to been added because he was an owner also. So needless to say, I was only paid $2500 and that was what they give you to help with funeral costs. What do I do?

You need to consult with an attorney. If the agent made an error in writing the coverage--and if this can be proven--you may be entitled to additional compensation. In addition, if the insurance company has acted fraudulently in denying benefits they know you're entitled to, there may be additional damages.

Did you request that you receive all benefits when you asked for it? Also, what caused the one car accident? There may be something you can do, but I don't have all the facts. I think you should have a few lawyers review your case. (Most, if not all, personal injury/insurance lawyers will review your case for free. I'd have two or three review it.)
