Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

insurance gaugin/ discrimination

I am a female owner of a semi truck & trailer leased to a company. I am 1 of 3 females leased to the company. There are around 275 males leased to the company. I have only bee getting one load a week. Others (male owners) get 5 to 8 or more a week. Am I being discriminated? I have my collision insurance through the leased company & they charge me more than double. If i went directly to the insurance company it would be less than half. Is this price gauging? Also, I had a driver with heath insurance & I have been overcharged $1,700.00 in 8 weeks for his heath insurance. They said the settlement looks confusing that they paid me. BUT, It is not confusing they owe me $1,700. & I have proof! It has been since 2007 that they owed me this money.

Re: insurance gaugin/ discrimination

Contact a competent lawyer in your area...The statute of limitations can run when one does not assert their rights...the $1700 requires a lawsuit within 4 years/ the discrimination can also be lost by not taking action...and it seems like discrimination..
