Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Uninsured/Underinsured
I am seeking uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage from my personal insurance. If I collect this before the settlement is complete with the at-fault drivers insurance; would this jeopardize my final claim. I realize there are ridiculous games that are played. I am a common man and would like to know if I simply accept my uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage (which I am indeed entitled to) would this cause havoc for the final settlement in which I indeed have serious injuries. Thanks!
