Earned Vacation
My husband has given his 2 week notice to his employer. He has 3 weeks of vacation (already earned according to his manager) that they will not pay him for. Is this legal and what can we do about it?

His entitlement depends on the written policy of the employer. He should challenge the decision unless the written policy is not to pay in such circumstances. If it is, it's lawful not to pay.
