Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Reduced pay rate??
My husband just called me and told me that instead of his boss letting go of individuals, he is going to lower everyone's pay rate. There was no warning or discussion about it before this morning. This is a plummbing company that stays quite busy. At this moment my husband already makes less than what he his worth. His question is if this is something that is possible. Can an employer reduce everyone's pay at the same time? Not for a performance issue, but just to save himself some extra cash? If you could please advise, I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, employer may at his discretion lower everyone's pay. Altgernative is to find other employment.
