Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Wrongful termination.

I won a case at the court of appeals. It's been over 5 months and still nothing happens, all I've been told is to wait from my attorneys, court did not give an option to--name removed--to supreme court, and other thing they told me is that I can still not receive no money from this case and still at risk of loosing it. How can I loose if already a veridict is been made? How long does the court provides in time for my money be paid? Hoping someone can help me understanding please. Thanks.

Re: Wrongful termination.

We routinely advise our clients that a "verdict" can be appealed to the circuit courts and from their to the Supreme Court and there are NO time lines..and the odds are that if they get to the Repubulican Texas Supreme Court, if there is a way to rule for insurers or big business...it will..and you will lose...Good luck..
