Family In hose
We are trying to kick out my sister from my house. I own the house and she is not in anyway on the papers. I called the police to help get her out when she refused they told me I would have to get a legal eviction notice? Is this true since we are not in an agreement/ signed lease?

Yes, because even without a written lease, she has been legally residing on your property with your permission. The police will not treat that as a trespass.
