Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

I am currently renting a mobile home in Texas out in the country. I have poison & traps placed around the house, but there are still mice in the walls/floors of the house. Hoses under one of the bathtubs in the house were chewed through & as a result, the flooring in that bathroom that was already soft in spots when I moved in 3 years ago, was damaged further. I am current on my rent & my rental agreement says the landlord is to handle repairs that result from normal intended use of the residence. My landlord says I'm responsible for replacing the flooring in this bathroom now. Wouldn't damage due to mice be considered "normal wear & tear" making this his responsibility?

Yes, it's his responsibility.

Ask him if he wants to fix it, or if he'd prefer that you find another place to live (and pay your monthly rent to somebody else).
